The foxes in St Peters Highfields Leicester are quite bolder than their rural counterparts in that our foxes as urban foxes tend to be quite happy living side by side with people.

The 'people' element is probably what bring them here as we tend to be very poor managers of waste and refuse including food which attracts rats and mice which in turn gives local foxes a good regular diet.

Additionally, people (litter louts) here tend to throw a lot of litter including junk food litter which again not only attracts foxes but can also harm them if chewed and swallowed. This is a good reason why litter should be discarded thoughtfully.
